Document a Prescription Administration
Once a prescription order is documented to the student record, the prescription administration may be documented with an event. The administration can be scheduled or PRN as needed.
All prescription administration events include common event elements. This includes, a Detail tab with RAD and comments, a History, Letters and Attachments tabs.
You document In the Detail tab:
- The prescription details from the order appear at the top.
- Administration Amount Administered - This field is populated from the order. It can be adjusted to reflect the administration.
- Witness – This is a text field to enter the name of a witness if it is needed.
- Missed Administration Reason – Select the reason the scheduled administration was missed.
